Langue de Chat
Cats tongues are those fab little biscuits you get in your ice cream on holiday by the sea. Langue de chat, in French or Lingue di Gatto, in Italian, are so super easy to make!

You'll need:
110g softened butter
85g icing sugar
120g flour
3 egg whites
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pre-heat the oven to 190c

Beat the sugar, vanilla and icing sugar until soft and creamy.
Add the flour 1/3 at a time. I used a handwhisk.

Whisk the egg whites one at a time (no need to pre-whisk the eggs whites)

Use a piping bag to pipe out lengths of batter 10cm long.
When you put these in the oven, they look odd! But bear with it!!

Bake for 12 minutes and then cool on a rack.
The only thing to serve with is ice cream!
Voila
